On Saturday, Sep 29, 2007, Glen Helen Park hosted a huge scouting event called a Stampede Camperoo. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of scouts converged there for a weekend of camping and typical scouting activities such as archery, rock climbing, fishing, etc. Though this was not an Arrowhead event, Arrowhead members Paula and Pat, as scoutmasters, and several helpers, hosted the canoeing activity.|

There were many others who helped, too. A special thanks goes to Sean D., a student at Carter High School and a ROTC cadet, who volunteered his entire morning and part of the afternoon. Thanks, Sean. Thanks go also to Ron B., Chris B., Mary T., Jessica R. for their enthusastic help, and Bill M. for taking the photos. To all others who helped, thank you. Each of you was a vital part of making this venture a resounding success.
These photos are just a sampling of what we took throughout the day.
