Arrowhead Vests for Life Program

Each weekend from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Arrowhead Squadron sets up a booth at the Lake Perris launch ramp lot 9 to offer to loan to boaters enough life vests to cover all people aboard your boat. Although you are required to provide a PFD for each person on board, sometimes you have extra company that you don't have PFDs for. The in-laws and their kids come in from out of town and everybody wants to go boating. You can't afford to go to Wal-Mart to pick up another half-dozen, but you don't want the lake patrol to nail you, either. COme on down. Arrowhead will cover you. We loan you the PFDs for the day. Bring them back to our booth on the way out, or drop them off at the guard station. If you forget and discover them in the boat after you get home, just bring them back whenever you can. To borrow the PFDs, we will have you fill out a short form giving a valid driver license, phone number, and address. This is strictly for tracking the PFDs we loan you, and will not be used for any other purpose.
